Darjeeling is known as the champagne of teas - finest of India's unblended teas - Grown on slopes of Himalayas 1,000-6000 feet above sea level - First Flush teas are made from leaves harvested early Spring. Second flush pick in May and June - exceptionally flavorful - slightly fruity and a sweet aftertaste.

Assam is one of the oldest tea growing regions in the world. Located North East of India, it is famous for strong full bodied tea. Assam teas are used in Breakfast blends. This tea is an orthodox rolled black tea with little 'tip'. Tastes malty and comes out strong in the cup. You can add milk to this tea.
